Turkish Delegation Assures Cooperation In Fisheries Sector

A Turkish government delegation Wednesday called on Khyber Patktunkhwa (KP) Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries Mohibullah Khan and discussed bilateral relations and cooperation in livestock sector.
During the meeting, both sides agreed on bilateral cooperation in various sectors including promotion of fisheries and assistance in increasing fish production.
The Turkish delegation assured giving training to enhance fisheries production, feed for fishes, its transportation to market and bringing overall improvement in conditions of fish hatcheries.
The delegation also expressed interest in various districts of Malakand and Hazara division to inspect public and private fisheries and establishing laboratories to increase yield.
The minister briefed the delegation about government's steps for promotion of livestock, fisheries and agriculture in the province. He thanked the delegation for offering assistance in livestock and fishery sector.
Chairman District Development Advisory Committee (DDAC) Swat, Fazal Hakim Khan, MPA Sharafat Ali Khan, Director General LivestockDr. Sheer Mohamad, Director General Fisheries Khosro Kaleem, Director Headquarters Alam Zeb Mohmand and other officials were also present in the meeting.
