Sardar Hussain Babak Calls For Appointment Of Officers Belonging To KP At Key Posts

Awami National Party (ANP) Parliamentary Leader Sardar Hussain Babak Wednesday called for appointment of officers belonging to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa at key posts.

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Dec, 2018 ) :Awami National Party (ANP) Parliamentary Leader Sardar Hussain Babak Wednesday called for appointment of officers belonging to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa at key posts.

Speaking on a calling attention notice in the KP Assembly, he said the provincial government had appointed a Junior Deputy Public Prosecutor on deputation, who also held two important posts of Director Anti Corruption and Deputy Secretary Administration.

He said the government should try to overcome shortage of local officers belonging to District Management Group (DMG) and Provincial Management Service.

Responding to the call attention notice, Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs Sultan Mohammad Khan said under the Civil Service Act, the appointment of Junior Deputy Public Prosecutor was as per law. The government under the law could give additional charge to any officer on permanent or temporary basis. However, on the appointment of other officers as Director Anti Corruption and Deputy Secretary Administration, he would relinquish the additional charges, he added.
