Traffic Warden System Introduces In Dera

Like other parts of the province, the traffic warden system has been introduced in the district with an aim to ensure smooth flow of traffic besides facilitating citizens on daily basis.
The system was inaugurated during a ceremony held here at Police Rest House, where Regional Police Office Dar Ali Khattak told the participants that traffic warden system has been introduced on self basis by Dera Traffic Police.
He said purpose of the system was to make the traffic system in the city on modern lines for the facilitation and safety of citizens, adding that the system was aimed to ensure implementation of traffic law in letter and spirit.
The RPO said that it was necessary to change the behavior and attitude of traffic police and citizens towards traffic rules, besides improving image of traffic police.
The event was attended by MPA Faisal Amin Gandapur, Commissioner Javed Khan Marwat, Deputy Commissioner Barkatullah, District Police OfficeZahoor Babar Afridi besides representatives of traders' union and notables.
