Survey For Nisthar Hospital-II Completed

The buildings department has completed a survey for the construction of the Nishtar Hospital-II and sent a proposal to the Punjab government for its approval.

MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Dec, 2018 ) :The buildings department has completed a survey for the construction of the Nishtar Hospital-II and sent a proposal to the Punjab government for its approval.

The project would be completed with Rs two billion, this was said by the official sources of the building department while talking to APP here on Wednesday.

They said that 45 acre land was identified on Old Shujabad Road near Pull Balail for the two-storey hospital with 2,000 beds.

The sources said the project would be completed in three years with Rs two billion which will be completed in different phases.

They said the Planning & Development (P&D) Department would make PC-I of the project after its approval while the building department will prepare estimate details about the project.

It is pertinent to mention here that Nishtar Medical Hospital-I was already functional in the city. However, the Nisthar-II would be helpful in reducing burden on Nishtar-I and it will be built outside the city to cover areas,including DG Khan, Muzaffargarh, Shujabad and Jalalpur.
