CAIRO (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 12th December, 2018) Africa's bright future lies with the development of trade and economic cooperation with Russia amid raging trade wars across the globe, Russian Ambassador to Egypt Sergei Kirpichenko said Wednesday.
"Our African colleagues should know that their future is connected with trade and economic cooperation with Russia. While the only exports from Washington and Brussels today are trade wars, sanctions ... Russia exports qualitative goods and services. The right choice is needed," Kirpichenko said during a panel discussion named "Russia-Africa Partnership and Strategic Cooperation in Trade and Economic Relations" that took place within the framework of the Intra-African Trade Fair 2018.
The delegation of the Russian Export Center is currently in Cairo as part of a business mission. According to the mission program, aside from participating in the panel discussion, the delegation is expected to partake in a practical seminar called "African market: specificity and opportunities" as well as hold a series of B2B meetings.
