WASHINGTON (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 12th December, 2018) US crude oil output is expected to jump by more than 11 percent to 12.1 million barrels per day (bpd), the Energy Information Administration (EIA) revealed in a report.
"EIA expects that US crude oil production will average 10.9 million b/d [barrels per day] in 2018, up from 9.4 million b/d in 2017, and will average 12.1 million b/d in 2019," a press release summarizing the outlook said on Tuesday.
In November alone, US crude oil production averaged 11.5 million barrels per day, up 150,000 bpd from October levels as platforms in the Gulf of Mexico resumed normal operations following a series of hurricane-related outages in October, the release said.
