Book Launch On Alternative Cinema In Pakistan On Dec 12

Asia Peace Film Festival (APFF) will organize a book launch and panel discussion on "Alternative Cinema in Pakistan: Challenges and prospects" here on December 12 at Pak China Friendship Centre.

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Dec, 2018 ) :Asia Peace Film Festival (APFF) will organize a book launch and panel discussion on "Alternative Cinema in Pakistan: Challenges and prospects" here on December 12 at Pak China Friendship Centre.

APFF is a traveling festival inspired by nomadic tradition of art, craft and creativity striving to bring film making and peace building communities together creating interface for a cultural dialogue.

APFF is showcasing its 2nd Edition during International Students Convention, on Dec 12-13.

As a key stream of APFF Film Festival, The Book "Journey Through Lens", co-authored by Aijaz Gul and Jamal Sohail, works both as a reference and text book documenting the much-needed cinematic history of Pakistan.

The book launch will be followed by a panel discussion on the challenges and prospects of Pakistani alternative cinema with contemporary film-makers and professional from the industry.
