NOWSHERA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Dec, 2018 ) :The patients suffered hardships at Qazi Medical Complex as young doctors went on strike to press the government for meeting their long-standing demands here on Tuesday.
The young doctors were holding placards and banners inscribed with slogans in favour of their demands, urging the government to take serious measures for early release honorarium which had been withheld for the last six months.
President Young Doctor Association Dr Maroof in Sheikh Zahid Hospital told media persons that protest would continue till acceptance of their genuine demands and asked the government to issue directives for releasing the long-awaited honorarium for the young doctors at the earliest.
He said that young doctors would not attend Out-Door Patient (OPD) and hold protest on Kanal road to register their protest for pressing the government to resolve problems of the young doctors who were efficiently rendering their services for the evolving health society.
The patients, especially those who had come from far-flung areas faced difficulties and they had to turn to private clinics to get treatment.
