HYDERABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Dec, 2018 ) :Speakers, in an Anti-Corruption Rally, have termed the corruption a major hurdle for development of the country and urged for joint and sincere efforts to root out this menace.
A joint Anti-Corruption rally from different provincial government departments including district administration, Anti-Corruption Establishment, Directorate of school education, Labour Department and Workers Welfare board was brought out from Old Campus Hyderabad with participation of the people from all segments of life on Tuesday and culminated outside Hyderabad Press Club.
The Additional Deputy Commissioner Hyderabad Ali Muhammad Babbar who led the rally said the corruption has not only impended the development but also promote crimes in the society which needs to be unearthed for rapid progress and prosperity of the country.
He termed illegal gratification as the major source of promoting corruption and called upon the society to wage a joint war against this menace. The objective of bringing out awareness walk is to inform the society about the hazards of corruption, he added.
The Circle Officer Anti-Corruption Establishment Hyderabad Sher Muhammad said corruption in kind of illegal gratification is the major sources of promoting social injustices and crimes in the society and there is the need of carrying out joint efforts to root out corruption from the society with support of masses.
