Paris, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Dec, 2018 ) :Two-time world giant slalom champion Tessa Worley will miss the World Cup downhill and Super-G races at Val Gardena in Italy next week with a knee injury, the French Ski Federation (FFS) said on Monday.
Worley fell heavily during the Super-G at Lake Louise in Canada on December 2 and was also ruled out of the Saint Moritz leg last week.
She won the season-opening giant slalom at Soelden in October.
The two women's speed events were originally scheduled for Val d'Isere but were moved to Italy on December 9 because of poor snow conditions in the French resort.
The FFS said a decision about her return to racing would be announced at the start of next week and she could be fit to compete at Courchevel on December 21.
