Elements Involved In Misuse Of Power, Authorities Be Given Punishment: Zartaj

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Dec, 2018 ) :Minister of State for Climate Change, Zartaj Gull on Monday said that elements involved in misuse of powers or authorities should be punished according to country's law.
Talking to a private news channel, she said that accountability bureau was taking action against the corrupt elements involved in money laundering or any other illegal activity.
She alleged that Asif Ali Zardari and his sister, the leader of PML-N, ex chief minister Punjab, Shehbaz Sharif and the similar persons of other parties were facing the court cases due to misuse of authorities, powers or money laundering.
It was strange that former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, while running the previous government had been involved in misuse of powers.
She added that the ex prime minister Nawaz Sharif had kept the costly buffaloes for drinking milk and all these animal had been found in the premises of the PM House.
The former PM Nawaz Sharif, never asked his ministers about their performances while running the past government of PML-N. She said tt was for the first time in the history of the country that PTI government, running under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan, had asked the ministers of their performances.
Zartaj Gull said Imran Khan wanted to see performance of his cabinet ministers and for that, he had held a meeting with them today.
To a question she said that Jehangir Tareen of PTI was one of the biggest tax payers of the country.
She said no one was above the law, adding that NAB was investigating the leaders and others involved in money laundering or any other corrupt practices without any discrimination.
