International Mountain Day Tomorrow

An interactive session will be held here on Tuesday to engage communities for resilient Mountains and mark International Mountain Day.

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Dec, 2018 ) :An interactive session will be held here on Tuesday to engage communities for resilient Mountains and mark International Mountain Day.

The event will be conducted and organised by Director Devcom-Pakistan and Pakistan Mountain Festival, Munir Ahmed and Pakistan Youth Hostels Association (PYHA), at Youth Hostel on December 11.

The event commemorates the United Nations' International Mountain Day which provides a reason to emphasise how climate, deprivation and migration are impacting mountains.

The day is globally celebrated to ensure that viable mountain enhancement is incorporated into the 2030 agenda and in the enactment of the Paris Agreement.
