'Govt Taking Steps For Welfare Of Special Persons': Mian Farrukh Habib

Federal Parliamentary Secretary for Railways Mian Farrukh Habib on Saturday said that the government was taking steps for welfare and betterment of special persons.
He was addressing a function arranged at the Faisalabad Arts Council (FAC) in connection with the Day of Special Persons here.
He said that special persons were an integral part of society, therefore, it was collective duty to deal special persons with polity.
He said that the government had set its priority to provide all necessary facilities to the special persons.
In this connection, the government was also taking measures for their quality education and vocational training.
Dr Izharul Haq Hashmi, Director Programs Punjab Disabled Welfare Trust, District Officer Special Education Chaudhry Abdul Hameed and Shakeel Ahmad, Chairman Syed Khatoon-e-Jannat Special Education Centre also addressed the function.
Later, prizes were also distributed among special children who got positions in different contests whereas shields were presented to the guests.
