Return of Bollywood Delayed

Karachi, (Pakistan Point News - 25th Oct, 2016 ) : Pakistani exhibitors had decided to officially lift the ban from Bollywood movies this afternoon, however the decision was delayed after the Quetta tragedy. Zoraiz Lashari, chairman of Pakistani exhibitors and Distributors Association, said that they only suspended the screening of Indian films in Pakistani cinema as the Indian Army’s put the penalty of INR-50 million on Bollywood films featuring Pakistani actors.

Chairman also said that the main purpose of lifting the ban from Bollywood movies was to appreciate the Pakistani actos working across the border. He added that statement of Indian Army was convincing enough that the exhibitors decided to resume Indian movies in the cinemas. The release of Fawad Khan’s film Ae Dil Hai Mushkil in India gives a positive outlook of the whole situation. However, the ban has been delayed because of the attack on Quetta last night.
