Capital Police Arranges Farewell For Colleague Retiring After 36 Years Long Service

Islamabad police on Friday held a farewell party to recognize 36 year long services of a colleague Javed Iqbal on his retirement.
Senior Superintendent of Police Operations Waqaruddin Syed while speaking on the occasion, paid rich tributes to his office assistant Javed Iqbal for his long time dedication and commitment to the department.
A graceful ceremony of farewell was arranged in Safe City Field office to acknowledge the services rendered by Javed. SSP Operation Waqaruddin Syed was the chief guest.
The event was also attended by the DSP Ghulam Muhammd Baqar, Administration officers Raja Riyasat Hussain and staff of SSP operation office.
The SSP Operation while addressing the event said that Javed Iqal had served in the department of police with dignity and honesty. He said today, Javed Iqbal had retired from the service of police respectably.
The SSP said that senior citizens of the country were important members of the society and contribute to the well being of other citizens. The doors of the department, where Javed served for more than three decades were open for him and he would be extended assistance in the time of need, he expressed.
Javed Iqbal was given gifts by his colleagues in the police department to show their gratitude and respect.
