Awami National Party (ANP) President Asfandyar Wali Khan has said time has arrived that all the stakeholders should work above their differences and sincerely make efforts for the peace in Afghanistan.
In a statement issued here Friday, he said if this golden opportunity was missed the consequences would be dreadful and would negatively impact the whole region including Pakistan.
The ANP leader said that Prime Minister Imran Khan was endorsing the same facts that were predicted for earlier by our leaders about Afghanistan but unfortunately they were being dubbed as traitors.
Reacting to interview of Prime Minister given to a US newspaper, he said all the stakeholders are now seconding the predictions of Pakhtun leaders, adding that all the concerned should have to shun their differences and work for restoration of lasting peace in Afghanistan.
