Commenting on exhibition Organizer Roubina said, the exhibition was a great success in the sense that the women participants gained a lot of exposure and appreciation.

Women from far flung areas participated in the exhibition with their indigenous products like special hand crafted and embroidered items from Gilgit Baltistan, chicken kari from Multan, vegetable dyed fabrics from Nawabshah Sindh, beads jewelry made of paper by women of Swat, baby products and smocked frocks form Rawalpindi, hand embroidered shawls dupattas from Kashmir Srinagar, hand painted scarfs from KPK, colourful hand knotted durri material floor cushions and girly bags from Khanewal.

A lady entreprenuer from Sindh, Naseema Bibi said, Women entrepreneurs are an important segment of the society which help in developing crafts of various regions due to which these local arts do not die down. They are linking up the rural with urban sectors and help in marketing rural products in the urban sectors.

Their numbers are increasing and are becoming vendors for larger companies, diversifying the products ranges with creativity and introducing new products from indigenous raw materials not available in the local markets she added.

Another women entreprenuer from Multan said, however, most of the Women entrepreneurs face the problem of marketing their products, it is our study that women make products from the limited finances they have, but wait all year round for an exhibition or a place to sell them.

They are unable to place their products in any shop for sale, they donot usually own shops as being expensive.
