Bahawalpur Police Bust 3-member Bandit Gang

Bahawalpur police while using modern technology to trace out whereabouts of notorious criminals successfully busted a three-member bandit gang involved in heinous crimes.
A senior police official told media persons that a notorious bandit gang was involved in incidents of robbery, theft and highway robberies in Bahawalpur and several other districts.
He maintained that there was intelligence information that the gang had entered Bahawalpur and was involved in robbery incidents. "Bahawalpur police used modern technology to trace out the whereabouts of the criminals," said, ASP (Saddar) Mir Rohal.
He further said that when the IT technology equipment confirmed the presence of the bandit gang in a specific area, Saddar police immediately raided the spot and arrested the three members of the gang. The senior police official said that FIRs of several incidents of crime had already been lodged against the accused.
A special investigation team has been interrogating the suspects. Further probe was under way.
Meanwhile, in another police action, police arrested two accused and recovered 7MM rifle, a pistol and six rounds.
Case had been registered against the accused. Investigation was continuous.
