by Mohammed Jalal Al Raisi, Executive Director of the Emirates News Agency, WAM ABU DHABI, (Pakistan Point News - 05th Dec, 2018) The Saudi celebrations of the UAE’s 47th National Day and the Emirati celebrations of the Saudi 88th National Day, as well as the visit of HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia to the UAE during these celebrations are exceptional, and have never been seen by the Arab youth in terms of warmth, authenticity and prestige, and have ensured a bright Arab future based on resolve, integration, clear visions and confidence.

In light of the leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the relations between the UAE and Saudi Arabia have flourished, and are reflected by the joint celebrations that deserve to be recorded and circulated. Many areas of Saudi Arabia have witnessed joint celebrations of the UAE’s National Day, under the title, "The Year of Zayed and One People."

The Saudi Ministry of Information organised a celebration of the UAE’s National Day, and over the course of three days, the King Abdulaziz Centre for World Culture, "Ithra," a subsidiary of Aramco, in Al Dhahran witnessed cultural and heritage activities, and experienced warmth that has spread around the kingdom. The Saudi General sports Authority was also decorated in the colours of the Emirati flag and Saudi airports welcomed Emirati travellers with the message, "Welcome the brothers of the dream and faithfulness."

The "brothers of the dream and faithfulness" is a Saudi slogan that expresses pride for the UAE’s National Day, and is a message that recalls, with the UAE, a historic chapter in modern Arab history that was started by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and his brothers, the Founding Rulers, who raised the flag of the Union and they made it, over five decades, a symbol of the Arabian dream, while its faithfulness and excellent relations with Saudi Arabia was strengthened due to the strong relation between Sheikh Zayed and King Faisal.

Based on these solid foundations of a joint history and clear future visions, the UAE and the Saudi Arabia have achieved a unique integration while supporting the legitimacy of Yemen, under a coalition that aims to defeat terrorism and extremism.

The partnership and integration of the UAE and Saudi Arabia, which intensified over the last two years, is based, as His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, said, on the belief that Saudi Arabia is the pillar of the Gulf and Arab world, and its security and stability is the security and stability of the UAE, Gulf Cooperation Council, GCC, and other Arab countries.

Considering this well-established conviction, the Strategy of Resolve between the two countries was created regarding the overall integration between the two sides in the areas of the economy, development and the military, which is based on many categories and committees, and hundreds of projects were organised to create a joint regional force, as well as a new United Nations, UN, event that will express leading political and development messages.

The relations between the UAE and Saudi Araba were described by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, as, "exceptional diplomatic relations and are fused like the bones of the arm in one body."

Served by political and economic visions that were strengthened by the Strategy of Resolve, the celebrations of the national days of the UAE and Saudi Araba, as experienced by both countries and their peoples in 2018, are the foundation of a legitimate ambition, which was described by Prince Mohammed bin Salman as a "New middle East," and the peoples of both countries responded, "Joint heritage and integrated future, we are celebrating them together forever."
