Liquor Factory Seized In Bahawalpur

The police conducted raid in a village area in suburb of Bahawalpur City, arrested three suspects and seized a liquor factory established in a house.

BAHAWALPUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 5th Dec, 2018 ) :The police conducted raid in a village area in suburb of Bahawalpur City, arrested three suspects and seized a liquor factory established in a house.

Police spokesman said Saddar police received an information that three men were running a liquor factory in village Basti Salaan and sold it out in city.

He said acting on a tip-off, a police party raided the den and arrested the suspects.

"A police party headed by Station House Officer, Saddar Police, Aaamir Hussain Ghauri conducted raid at a house used as liquor factory in Basti Salaan," he said, adding that the police arrested three accused besides recovering the material.

The police shifted the accused to Saddar Police Station and lodged an FIR against them. A police team stated investigation.

Further probe was underway.
