Russia Detained 3 Ukrainian Ships In Span Of 2 Hours During Kerch Strait Incident - FSB

MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 27th November, 2018) Three vessels of the Ukrainian Navy, which participated in a provocation in the Kerch Strait, were seized on Sunday in the span of two hours and escorted to the port o Kerch, the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) said Monday.

"At 21:06 Moscow time [18:06 GMT] on November 25, Russia's Izumrud border guard ship detained Ukraine's Berdyansk naval boat, evacuated seven crew members, including 3 wounded who received first aid ... At 21.15 Russia's Don ship stopped and detained the Yany Kapu boat. ... At 23:21 Moscow time, the Don ship also carried out the detention of the Nikopol vessel," the FSB said in a statement.

According to the statement, the seized Ukrainian naval boats were brought to the Crimean port of Kerch at 06:40 on Monday for further investigation.
