Threat looms over Lahore as terrorists enter city

The terrorists are aged between 15 to 20 years and are trained in using explosive weapons.

Lahore (Point News – 26th November, 2018) Lahore has been put on high alert as three terrorists belonging to a banned outfit have entered the city.

A notification in the regard has been issued by Additional IG Operations. The notification stated that 3 terrorists have entered Lahore who can target the government and law enforcement officials.

The terrorists are aged between 15 to 20 years and are trained in using explosive weapons.

The notification from AIG directed the relevant authorities to increase the security of railway stations, bus stations and other sensitive places.

Moreover, the authorities have been directed to speed up the search and combing operation in the city so any untoward incident could be avoided.

Earlier, the Punjab government imposed Section 144 in the province, including Lahore, in view of the law and order situation/

Section 144 was imposed over the directives of Additional Interior Secretary.

The use of loudspeaker and display of weapons was banned under Section 144. Moreover, public meetings were also banned in Lahore and Punjab according to section 144.
