DUBAI, (Pakistan Point News - 22nd Nov, 2018) In a visit to the Abu Dhabi Global Market, ADGM, the Emirates Maritime Arbitration Centre, EMAC, continues to ensure that maritime stakeholders are aware of the options when resorting to alternative dispute resolution, ADR, services.
EMAC members have been briefed and given a tour by executives at ADGM of their hearing facilities in Abu Dhabi.
"Parties to a dispute have the option of seating their arbitration anywhere they desire. Our visit to ADGM is of key importance to ensure that the institution is fully aware of what EMAC does and offers to the maritime community," said Majid Obaid bin Bashir, Acting Chairman and Secretary- General, EMAC.
EMAC and ADGM will continue to collaborate in future to co-host seminars that will provide further details of the benefits of ADR and arbitration seats.
