Clothing brand Edenrobe draws ire for using mental illness in ad campaign

The idea did not settle with people as they hit back at the brand for trying to capitalize on such a sensitive issue.

Lahore (Pakistan Point News – 20th November, 2018) Local clothing brand Edenrobe recently launched its Winter Collection with the title ‘knot the blues’, using the idea of mental illness and depression as a marketing tool.

The ad campaign of the latest collection features women who have fought depression and were apparently able to ‘knot their blues’.

Urooj Zia on Twitter brought the attention to the brand’s marketing strategy, terming it unacceptable.

Other people also came out to criticize the brand, asking it to show some human decency.
