The derailment of a train in Spain's Catalonia, which left one person dead and several injured, was caused by a landslide, Rodalies railway operator said Tuesday.

"At 6:15 (a.m. local time; 5:15 GMT) a landslide occurred, causing the derailment of the train on the R4 line," the operator said on Twitter.
According to the Catalan emergencies service, the accident left one person dead and six lightly injured.
