MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 18th November, 2018) Former Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych was admitted to Moscow's Sklifosovsky Research Institute of Emergency Care on Friday and discharged on the same day after receiving medical assistance, a source at the hospital told Sputnik on Sunday.
"He [Yanukovych] was here but has already been discharged. He was admitted on Friday, received medical assistance and was discharged that same day," the source said.
Yanukovych served as the Ukrainian president between 2010 and 2014 until he was removed from power by the country's parliament. Following the subsequent presidential election, Petro Poroshenko replaced Yanukovych as the head of state.
