Putin Meets With Singaporean Prime Minister During Visit To Southeast Asian Nation

SINGAPORE (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 14th November, 2018) Russian President Vladimir Putin held bilateral talks with Singaporean Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong on Wednesday during his three-day state visit to the Southeast Asian country.

The meeting started with the exchange of documents signed on the sidelines of Putin's visit, including an agreement on trade in services and investment, a memorandum of understanding on higher education as well as a cooperation agreement signed between the St. Petersburg government and Singapore Cooperation Enterprise.

After the ceremony, Putin and Lee continued bilateral talks.

Singapore is hosting the meeting of Russia and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) as well as the 13th East Asia Summit this week.
