Over 980 Syrians Return Home From Abroad Over Past 24 Hours - Russian Defense Ministry

MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 11th November, 2018) More than 980 Syrian refugees have returned to their home country from abroad over the past 24 hours, the Russian Defense Ministry's Center for the Reception, Allocation and Accommodation of Refugees said on Sunday.

"Over the past 24 hours, 981 refugees came back to the Syrian Arab Republic from abroad, including 78 people (24 women and 39 children) from Lebanon via the Jeydet-Yabus and Talkalakh checkpoints, and 903 people (271 women and 461 children) from Jordan via the Nasib checkpoint," the center's daily bulletin read.

A total of 318 people returned to places of permanent residence in Syria over the past 24 hours, according to the bulletin.

Syrian Armed Forces engineers deactivated 42 explosive devices and cleared 10 hectares of territories, nine buildings and two kilometers (1.24 miles) of roads in the Syrian provinces of Homs, Damascus, Quneitra and Daraa.
