The United States has imposed new sanctions on the Luhansk People's Republic Ministry of State Security under the Countering America's Adversaries Through Sanctions Act (CAATSA), the Treasury Department's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) said Thursday on its website.

"MINISTRY OF STATE SECURITY (a.k.a. "MGB"), Luhansk People's Republic, Luhansk City, Ukraine [CAATSA - RUSSIA]," the website said.
