BERLIN (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 08th November, 2018) Synchrotron, a joint campaign by Rossiya Segodnya International Information Agency's center specializing in interactive projects and Russia's National Research Center Kurchatov Institute, was commended by The Native Advertising Awards (NAA) in Best Use of Infographic category.

The award ceremony was held in Berlin on Tuesday as part of the Native Advertising Days conference.

The special project focuses on Kurchatov Center for Synchrotron Radiation and Nanotechnology that carries out research on a synchrotron, a machine that uses electomagnetic fields to increase the speed of particles. The results of the research can be used in biology, chemistry and physics.

The introduction to the special project explains the principles of electromagnetic fields, while the section on the particle accelerator itself is done almost entirely with animated schemes that help explain how the equipment works.

"Our goal was to lay out complicated physics processes in an accessible and slick format that contemporary users like. We are very happy that out work was appreciated by the international professional community," Pavel Shorokh, the head of the interactive projects' studio at the agency's design center, said.
