WASHINGTON (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 08th November, 2018) US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo's meeting with North Korean leaders this week has been postponed due to scheduling issues, State Department Deputy Spokesperson Robert Palladino said in a press briefing on Wednesday.
"Schedules change, schedules change all the time," Palladino told reporters when asked for a reason for the postponement of the meeting.
In the early hours after midnight on Wednesday, the State Department announced that Pompeo's meeting with North Korea's Vice Chairman Kim Yong Chol in New York City on Thursday had been postponed.
