WASHINGTON (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 07th November, 2018) Republican Governor Rick Scott is leading Democratic incumbent Bill Nelson in the US state of Florida Senate race, early unofficial exit polls revealed with only 3 percent of the vote in.
Scott has garnered 55.4 percent of votes cast and Nelson44.6 percent, according to a CNN exit poll on Tuesday.
The early results of the voting in Florida became available as the polls closed in six US states at 7:00 p.m. EST (2400 GMT).
