NEW YORK (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 03rd November, 2018) US President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania have cast their votes via absentee ballots in the 2018 congressional midterm elections, local media reported on Friday.
The first family voted via absentee ballots in New York "a few weeks ago," The Hill reported, citing the White House spokesperson.
Vice President Mike Pence and his wife Karen have also voted in their home state of Indiana, the spokesperson said, according to report.
New York Governor Andrew Cuomo and Senator Kirsten Gillibrand are up for re-election this year, and both candidates are expected to defeat their Republican challengers, according to media reports.
The US midterm congressional elections are set to be held on November 6.
