Russian Investigative Committee Qualifies Blast at Arkhangelsk FSB Office as Terror Act

A terrorism case was initiated over the explosion at the entrance of the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) building in the city of Arkhangelsk, the Russian Investigative Committee said on Wednesday

MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 31st October, 2018) A terrorism case was initiated over the explosion at the entrance of the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) building in the city of Arkhangelsk, the Russian Investigative Committee said on Wednesday.

Three FSB officers were wounded in the blast, while the bomber died of injuries received in the explosion.

"In Arkhangelsk, a criminal case was initiated under Art. 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (terrorist act) and Part 1 of Art. 222 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (illegal possession of ammunition) in connection to the explosion in the building of the FSB regional department," the committee said in a statement published on its WhatsApp.
