Chinese Premier to Discuss Trade With IMF, WTO, World Bank Chiefs on November 6 - Beijing

Premier of the Chinese State Council Li Keqiang will meet with the heads of leading international financial and economic institutions next week to discuss trade, economic growth, structural reforms and other pressing issues, Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesman Lu Kang said on Tuesday.

BEIJING (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 30th October, 2018) Premier of the Chinese State Council Li Keqiang will meet with the heads of leading international financial and economic institutions next week to discuss trade, economic growth, structural reforms and other pressing issues, Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesman Lu Kang said on Tuesday.

The meeting will be held on November 6 in Beijing and will be the third such dialogue. The previous one took place in September last year.

World Bank President Jim Yong Kim, Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Christine Lagarde, Director-General of the World Trade Organization (WTO) Roberto Azevedo, Secretary General of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) Angel Gurria and heads of other international organizations will take part in the roundtable in Beijing.

They will discuss such issues as the state of the world economy, the protection of the multilateral trading system, China's economy, as well as its reform and opening-up policy.
