MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 29th October, 2018) Indonesian Lion Air carrier said on Monday it had suspended talks with the Boeing manufacturer on supply of the 737 MAX 8 aircraft after a plane of the same modification crashed off the Indonesian coast earlier in the day.

"The 737 Max 8 operated by LionAirID had technical issues (plane was only two months old) on a previous flight. We are suspending talks with Boeing on a order for 10 of 737 planes from the Max program. Until the Air Crash Investigators issue a final report," the carrier said in a statement.
