MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 29th October, 2018) Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) High Commissioner on National Minorities Lamberto Zannier said on Monday that he would discuss the issue of Russian-speaking minorities outside Russia, including in Ukraine, with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov at talks in Moscow later in the day.
The official noted that the upcoming talks would address the situation around Russian diaspora and minorities outside Russia, as this issue was connected to his visits to Ukraine, the Baltic states, Moldova and the Central Asia.
Zannier added that, in particular, he intended to brief the Russian top diplomat on the measures taken by the Ukrainian authorities in regard to the country's legislation on education and language.
