According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup & Gilani Pakistan, 46% Pakistanis are of the view that the month of Muharram this year was more peaceful as compared to the previous years; 28% think there was no difference

Islamabad, (Pakistan Point News - 29th October, 2018) According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup & Gilani Pakistan, 46% Pakistanis are of the view that the month of Muharram this year was more peaceful as compared to the previous years; 28% think there was no difference. A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked “In this month of Muharram, do you think the law and order situation was better than previous years, was poorer than previous years or the same?” In response to this question, 46% said it was better, 14% said it was worse, 28% said there is was no difference while 12% did not know or respond to the question.
