MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 25th October, 2018) Ukraine was discussed at meetings with US National Security Adviser John Bolton in Moscow, but there is no progress in mutual understanding between Russia and the United States on the issue, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov said Wednesday.
"I assure you that the discussion of Ukraine took place, it was very difficult. Our positions with the Americans radically differ on many issues, and I don't feel that in this area there is some kind of rapprochement or a basis for somewhat gradually deepening mutual understanding. This is rather a negative aspect," Ryabkov said on Russia's Channel One.
