Head of the Cuban Council of State Miguel Diaz-Canel will pay his first visit to Russia on November 1, Sergei Kalashnikov, the head of the group of friendship of the Russian Federation Council and the Cuban parliament, said Wednesday.
MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 24th October, 2018) Head of the Cuban Council of State Miguel Diaz-Canel will pay his first visit to Russia on November 1, Sergei Kalashnikov, the head of the group of friendship of the Russian Federation Council and the Cuban parliament, said Wednesday.
The members of the Russian Federation Council earlier in the day adopted a declaration urging for the cessation of the US trade and financial blockade of Cuba.
"I think that the adoption of this declaration is particularly important in light of the visit of the head of Cuba's Council of State Miguel Diaz-Canel, scheduled for November 1. This will be [his] first visit to Russia," Kalashnikov said.
