Six Consultative Workshops Planned For Receiving New Hajj Policy Feedback

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Oct, 2018 ) :The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony has scheduled a series of one day consultative workshops in six major cities of country to get input of the stake holders before finalizing the new Hajj policy 2019, said an official of the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony.
Talking to APP, he said the Hujjaj, who performed sacred religious ceremony this year likely to share their difficulties including accommodation, transport, food, etc during hajj 2018 and also suggest various measures to improve Hajj arrangements.
He said the main aim of workshops is to further improve Hajj arrangements in light of past experiences. The ministry wanted to provide optimum facilities to Hujjaj.
According to the schedule, the first consultative workshop would be held in Hajj Directorate, Lahore on Thursday (October 25), followed by Hajj Directorate Multan on Monday (October 29).
The third such workshop would be held in Hajj Directorate, Karachi on Monday (November 1), the fourth one day workshop is scheduled at Hajj Directorate, Islamabad on Monday (November 5), the fifth workshop has been arranged at Hajj directorate, Peshawar on Tuesday (November 6) and the sixth one day consultative workshop has been arranged at Hajj directorate Quetta on Thursday (November 8). All the workshops would commence at 10:00 am.
He said the ministry would continue seeking feed back from the general public, Hajj organizers, Banks, airlines representatives, master trainers and representatives of other departments to incorporate their suggestions in the new Hajj policy. A couple of other such meetings have also been planned in various cities of the country with the focus to get maximum feedback before finalizing Hajj policy 2019.
