10 Killed, 1,034 Injured In 933 Accidents

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Oct, 2018 ) :At least 10 people were killed while 1,034 sustained injuries in 933 accidents in Punjab during last 24 hours.
According to Rescue 1122, out of total injured, 589 were seriously injured and shifted to different hospitals.
The statistics showed that 272 accidents were reported in Lahore which affected 288 people placing the provincial capital at top of the list followed by 79 in Faisalabad with 97 victims and Multan at third with 76 accidents and 81 victims.
As many as 771 motorcycles, 122 rickshaws, 91 cars, 44 vans, 11 buses, 32 trucks and 113 other vehicles besides slow-moving carts were involved in the accidents.
