Shanghai, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Oct, 2018 ) :Danielle Kang won the inaugural $2.1 million Buick LPGA Shanghai by two shots on Sunday after a nerve-wracking final round when the lead changed hands several times.
On a breezy and overcast day at Qizhong Garden Golf Club, at least half a dozen players were in contention as the tournament reached a thrilling conclusion.
But it was the American Kang -- who turned 26 on Saturday -- who kept her nerve, carding a final-round 69 for a total 13-under-par 275.
Former world number one Lydia Ko of New Zealand was among a large group of players tied in second.
For Kang, ranked 29th in the world, it is just a second LPGA victory, adding to the Women's PGA Championship -- a major -- she won last year.
