Labourers demand increase in wages

KHANEWAL, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Oct, 2018 ) ::Labourers observed strike and staged protest demonstration for increase in their wages at grain market Khanewal.

The Labourers denied to load and unload cotton and other commodities in the market until their demnand was met.

Labourers leader Aziz Kamboh said that their wages were very low as compared to inflationary trend.

Chairman grain Market Haji Akhlaaq held talks with the labourers but they denied to work. While the business activities remained suspended at the market.
