MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 21st October, 2018) US President Donald Trump announced on Saturday the US withdrawal from the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty (INF) with Russia
According to the Associated Press news agency, Trump said the United States would leave the INF over Russia's alleged violations of the treaty,
"We're going to terminate the [INF] agreement and we're going to pull out," Trump said.
The 1987 INF Treaty prohibits the development, deployment and testing of ground-launched ballistic or cruise missiles with ranges between 300 and 3,400 miles.
