Chitral's Tourism Potential Highlighted In A Conference

The Participants of a conference titled 'Chitral-The future hub of Tourism and Trade Connectivity' Saturday highlighted the endless vistas of tourism in Chitral, saying, the proper development of infrastructure and provision of needed facilities to the area would boost tourism activities and improve socio-economic conditions of locals.
CHITRAL, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Oct, 2018 ) :The Participants of a conference titled 'Chitral-The future hub of Tourism and Trade Connectivity' Saturday highlighted the endless vistas of tourism in Chitral, saying, the proper development of infrastructure and provision of needed facilities to the area would boost tourism activities and improve socio-economic conditions of locals.
The conference was organized by Chitral Association for Health and education (CAFHE) in University of Chitral with an aim to promote local tourism industry. Participants in their speeches said that Chitral has been endowed by nature with innumerable bounties and tourism attractions that should be exploited.
They said the tourism activities would positively affect the economic conditions of local people.
The participants also demanded that Chitral should be made part of CPEC and the local festivals should be celebrated at national level to revive local traditions and customs. They said that remote and unexplored areas of Chitral should be developed for tourists by developing infrastructure faculties.
The event was attended by students, locals, researchers and scholars including Prof. Zahid Ullah, Prof. Mumtaz Hussain, Prof. Rehmat Karim Baig, Prof. Sardar-ul-Mulk, Prof. Ehsan Ullah, Ptof. Fazal Rehman, Prof. islam Uddin,Fazal Raqib, Dr. Taj Uddin and Muhammad Jala Uddin.
