Opposition Doing Politics Of Non-issues: Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar

Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar Friday said the opposition was engaged in politics of non-issues and opponents were afraid of their dark political career.

He added, promise of public welfare would be fulfilled at every cost.

Talking to Federal Minister for Petroleum Ghulam Sarwar Khan and assembly members who were called him on at his office, the chief minister said that the incumbent government inherited a devastated economy. However, he said, difficult time would not last long and practical steps were being taken to benefit people.

He said the past tenure was a decade of exhibitory projects and hollow slogans, adding that a policy of zero-tolerance had been adopted against corruption.

CM Buzdar regretted that the opposition wanted to deviate attention of the government from core issues faced by the people but they would come up to the expectations of the masses.
