Punjab Food Authority Seals 10 Food Points, Imposes Fine Rs 222,500 In Multan

Punjab Food Authority (PFA) has sealed 10 food points over use of sub-standard material and poor cleanliness arrangements during an operation here on Thursday.
MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Oct, 2018 ) :Punjab Food Authority (PFA) has sealed 10 food points over use of sub-standard material and poor cleanliness arrangements during an operation here on Thursday.
Different teams of PFA conducted raids at various cities of South Punjab and sealed Pakeeza Sweets, Kala Khan Sweets, Zaffar Sweets, Abdul Qayoom Sweets, Ali Bakers, Almadina Pawn Shop, Suleman Traders, Noor Mehal Foods, Chines Restaurant and Hotel and others over poor cleanliness, sub-standard material, illegal labels and others violations.
PFA teams also imposed fine Rs 222,500 on various other food points for violations of food department orders.
On the other hand, an ample quantity of unhygienic food was also destroyed during the operation.
