Rawalpindi Cantonment Board Confiscates Six Truckload Goods Of Encroachers

Rawalpindi Cantonment Board (RCB) Thursday confiscated six truckload goods from different markets in its operation against encroachments.
RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Oct, 2018 ) :Rawalpindi Cantonment Board (RCB) Thursday confiscated six truckload goods from different markets in its operation against encroachments.
According to RCB spokesman Qaiser Mahmood, the operation was conducted in Saddar, Chungi No 22, Westridge, Allahabad, Naseerabad and other areas. A number of shopkeepers in different areas were also imposed fines.
The anti encroachment operation on the instruction of Cantonment Executive Officer Sabtain Raza has been intensified, he added.
He said notices were also issued to the shopkeepers and they have been directed to remove encroachments on their own else strict action in accordance with the law would be taken.
The spokesman said the operation would continue and warned the traders not to violate the rules as stern action would be taken against the violators and no relaxation would be given to anyone.
He informed that the board has established a special anti encroachment unit to clear all Cantt areas and remove temporary and permanent encroachments.
He said the RCB food branch today checked several food points and issued 15 show cause notices on poor cleanliness and unhygienic conditions.
The team also collected 24 food samples which have been sent to the lab forquality test.
The food branch team imposed Rs191,000 fine on the rules violators and sealed a hotel in Dhoke Syedan area.
