Chief Minister Balochistan Jam Kamal Aims To Depoliticize Educational Institutions

Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Jam Kamal Khan on Wednesday said the government was taking steps to depoliticize educational institutions for ensuring quality education in Balochistan.
QUETTA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Oct, 2018 ) :Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Jam Kamal Khan on Wednesday said the government was taking steps to depoliticize educational institutions for ensuring quality education in Balochistan.
He said that all the stakeholders should have to play their respective role for ensuring provision of quality education in Balochistan, saying that an effective Complement Management System has been made to utilize modern techniques for addressing issues on the basis of complaints.
He expressed these views while speaking at inaugurating ceremony of Secondary Education Balochistan's Complement Management System organized with the cooperation of European Union and United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund (UNICF).
Adviser to Chief Minister for Education Haji Mir Muhammad Khan Lehri, Secretary Education Noor-ul Haq Baloch, and other official were also present on the occasion.
The CM lauded efforts of Secretary Education and his team for preparing the effective Complement Management System, saying, the government achieved a lot for improving performance of the educational institutions in last two month.
He said the representatives of Union of education department causing delay in addressing the issues of educational problems as whenever the government talk about issues of education, the union representatives put their issues on front.
He stressed the need of reforms in all the governmental departments to overcome unnecessary expenses.
Jam Kamal said the province was facing a lot of issues but the government was taking reasonable steps for their solution.
Commenting over the educational structure, he said the students even could not understand their curriculum properly which they were studying in the present education system. He stressed the need to adopt modern techniques, use of internet, changing educational curriculum and system gradually for resolving issues of education.
He said all parliamentarians were ready to cooperate for provision of quality education and achieving its objectives in the province.
Earlier, Adviser to Chief Minister Balochistan for Education Haji Muhammad Khan Lehri said the performance of educational institutions had been improved in short period and its credit goes to Chief Minister Balochsitan Mir Jam Kamal Khan who took reasonable measures in this regard.
Lehri said on the special directives of Chief Minister Blaochistan, implementation of practical steps were being taken for promotion of education, saying that introduction of Secondary Education Complement Management System was also a part of it.
With the implementation of this new system, issues of educational institutions would be resolved in time, he said.
Muhammad Khan Lehri said an effective mechanism has been made for procurement of complaints, so that government could solve problems of public at time.
He also praised UNICEF and European Union for taking serious efforts to address educational problems and improving education standard in the province.
Later, talking to media, Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Jam Kamal Khan said in the current situation, the establishment of Compliment Management System was very important as there was no effective system in remote areas for addressing problems and complaints .
He said people could access the relevant authorities through this new system and would ask responsible officials regarding negligence of addressing problems.
He said Prime Minister Imran Khan had assured support to the provincial government for the completion of three stages of Kachhi Canal, saying that 0.7 million acres of land would be irrigated by the completion of Kachhi Canal.
